The Laubenheimer KRONE is the immediate neighbour of LÖHRER BERG. But despite the proximity, the conditions are different. The steep southeast slope is characterized by a variety of light and coarse soils of loess loam and sandstone weathering, which gives the Riesling a very complex character. The vines here are also more exposed to the westerly wind, which leads to stronger nocturnal cooling. These sharp temperature fluctuations in turn give the wine a robust temperament with pronounced citrus aromas.
