About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the German winery Knipser masters this white wine in the sunny and magnificent landscape of the Rhine Valley. Nuances and accents are redefined with the biting white wine 2011 — Riesling Halbstuck Reserve. The Flaschenpost team guarantees a culinary experience when you serve this Riesling with Asian food or shrimps.

Tasting note
What lasts a long time: The best Riesling grapes of the vintage for this top German Riesling grow around Laumersheim in the Palatinate and are aged in traditional wooden barrels with a capacity of 600 liters (half piece). They then mature in the bottle for at least another three years before they go on sale. Buying wine from the Knipser winery therefore always means having the best wine in the bottle.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with freshwater fish, asparagus, veal, vegetables.
Vinification
The best Riesling grapes of the vintage mature in 600-liter wooden barrels and then in the bottle for at least three years before they are sold.
