Tasting note
The Gaisberg location faces southwest and is located on the southern foothills of the Manhartsberg. The vines are 40 years old. Multifaceted bouquet, grapefruit, white peach, citrus notes, wonderfully accompanied by minerals. On the palate, powerful, racy, fine acid structure and very complex.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team recommends this Riesling Gaisberg Erste Lage Otw Kamptal Reserve DAC (organic) with Asian food, duck and shrimps. Our recommendation: The white wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 8°-10°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: now until 2027.
