About the wine
The stately estate in Flemlingen was owned by the Counts von der Leyen until the 16th century. The Minges family has been managing the property for eight generations now and, according to their own statement, is associated with the fascination of winemaking. Their aim is to skilfully bottle the minerality of the diverse soils and the character of the grape varieties.

Tasting note
Deep and elegant nose of grapefruit and pome fruit. Juicy on the palate, well-balanced and with great excitement. This Riesling is fun and has a fantastic price-performance ratio!
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Riesling Buntsandstein Trocken passt perfekt zu Ente, Pilzen und asiatischem Essen.
Vinification
After manual harvesting, the selected grapes are left to stand for a cool maceration period for six hours. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged on fine yeast for the next six months before being bottled in spring.
