This Riesling from Monopollage Batterieberg is extremely appealing and complex on the nose with aromas of fresh herbs, peaches, apples, pears, candied citrus fruits and a slight note of yeast. Full-bodied on the palate with lots of pressure and tension, without ever being overloaded. The huge variety of aromas ranges from apricot and peach to exotic, floral and herbal notes to salty minerality, which is also slightly rocky on the very long finish.
