About the wine
We have a special, outstanding white wine from 2016 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the German winery Villa Huesgen masters this white wine in the picturesque landscape of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Riesling with Asian food or Indian cuisine.
Tasting note
The Riesling Alte Reben is light yellow with green reflections in the glass. Clean on the nose with ripe apricot fruit, pure Claude and notes of baked shortcrust pastry. Opulent on the palate, good structure and length. Here, too, the apricot is confirmed by a subtle vanilla flavor, ripe acidity and lots of aroma. A special gourmet and specialty wine from over 120-year-old vines!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with veal, poultry, mild cheese, cheese
Vinification
Cold fermentation, with a longer maceration period. The aging takes place in double-piece wooden barrels (2400 liters).
