Tasting note
This Riesling is pale straw yellow. The nose is dominated by aromas of citrus fruits, ripe stone fruit and a touch of yeast. On the palate, the wine is elegant, with concentrated bright fruit aromas, a juicy acid structure and a mineral touch. A dry Riesling with lots of pull and wonderful finesse.
Vinification
The grapes for this Riesling come from vines on average 35 years old from various sites around Orschwihr. After manual harvesting, the grapes are sorted again at the winery and then gently pressed. The juice is then fermented with natural yeasts at cool temperatures. Yeasts are aged in steel tanks.
