About the wine

Bodegas Peñafiel, whose vineyards are between 750 and 900 meters above sea level, is located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. Every single bottle of the bodegas contains a part of this region: the composition of the air, the intensity of the colors, the crackling dry heat of summer and the clammy scent of winter. The production of wines from low-yield vines is limited in order to achieve a consistently high quality standard from year to year. Peñafiel also owns vineyards in Rueda and Toro.
