About the wine

Bodegas Peñafiel, whose vineyards range from 750 to 900 meters, is located in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. Every single bottle of the Bodegas contains a part of this region: The composition of the air, the intensity of the colors, the crackling dry heat of summer and the clammy scent of winter. The production of wines from low-yielding vines is limited in order to achieve a consistently high standard of quality from year to year. Peñafiel also owns vineyards in Rueda and Toro.
