About the wine
Picturesque and graceful landscapes of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon) give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Finca La Capilla conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. With the fresh Tempranillo 2016 — Ribera del Duero DO Crianza, you can offer your family and friends something very special. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Tempranillo is excellent to serve with pizza or red meat.
Tasting note
Dark, deep color with an intense bouquet of blackberries and cherries. In addition, light vanilla notes and some cedar wood from the timber construction. Velvety structure with fleshy tannins and an elegant freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, grill, Mediterranean cuisine and pasta/pizza.
Vinification
100% Tempranillo vinified with natural yeast in stainless steel tanks. The biological acid degradation takes place in French oak barrels and then the wine is stored for 12 months in 2/3 French oak barrels and 1/3 American oak barrels. The wine is stored in the bottle for 2 years before being released on the market.
