About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Le Salette is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the flourishing and fertile Veneto countryside. With the first-class Recioto Classico Pergole Vece, which was produced in 2012, you will certainly have a lot of fun.
Tasting note
A great red wine, rich and elegant, complex and very long. Dark ruby red in the glass, balsamic notes on the nose, blueberries, blackberries, cherries and rhubarb with a hint of chocolate and spices. Warm and balanced with gentle acidity and a certain freshness. Very long aftertaste.
Vinification
Careful selection of grapes during harvesting, which are immediately “applauded” to concentrate the essence of the fruit. Slow alcoholic fermentation and long aging in barriques of more than three years.
