Tasting note
The “Recanati Gris de Marselan Rose” reveals rich nuances of citrus fruits as well as flowers, strawberries and grapefruits. With balanced acidity and floral scents, the wine has a nice and fresh finish.
Culinary recommendation
Enjoy this summery drop as a simple aperitif or with light dishes such as French chicken pancakes, steak tartare or salted peanuts.
Vinification
The Marselan vines come from the high-quality “Manara” vineyard in the Upper Galilee. After the grapes have been peeled and slightly crushed, they are added directly to soft pressing and cold fermentation. They are only macerated in steel barrels for a few hours to obtain the desired aromas and the light pink color. Once this is achieved, fermentation begins in separate steel barrels.
