About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Trus has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque and enchanting landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this fresh Tempranillo 2018 Punto Geodesico Ribera del Duero DO. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this tempranillo with pizza or red meat.

Tasting note
Its color is of dense purple with black reflections. Baked plums and ripe blackberries on a complex nose, underlined by nut chocolate, black cherries and blueberry jelly, tempting and impressive at the same time. A powerful start on the creamy, soft palate, juicy tannins and beguiling extract sweetness, again lots of black fruit and now also caramelized almonds and dark-roasted coffee, enormous reserves until the unforgettable finale.
Culinary recommendation
It is particularly suitable as an accompaniment to beef fillet, braised knuckle or lamb cutlet. You can also serve this wine with game dishes, mushrooms and oxtail or with aged cheeses.
