About the wine
If you're looking for something special, then you can't miss out on this distinctive red wine 2014 — Primitivo IGP Domiziano. The wine-growing areas of the Domiziano San Marco winery stretch across the landscapes where the experienced winemaker produces this red wine. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Primitivo is very good to serve with brasato or pasta.
Tasting note
The Primitivo has a concentrated, deep ruby red color. Intense scent of ripe cherries, a touch of chocolate and spicy notes characterize the bouquet. Intense fruit on the palate, very velvety and soft with an elegant fullness - provides uncomplicated drinking pleasure.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with pasta, spicy hard cheese and pizza.
Vinification
Mash fermentation for 8 days at 20 °C in stainless steel horizontal rotary tanks. Aging takes place in barriques for 6 months, followed by a short period of bottle aging.
