About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Real Sitio de Ventosilla Burgos absolutely masters his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the beautiful and picturesque landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). This strong Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 — Prado Rey Crianza is a hit right down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Tasting note
Color: Clear, bright blackberry red. Aroma: Fruity on the nose, with forest and floral aromas. Character: Medium-liquid on the palate with notes of vanilla, coconut, cinnamon and nuts, beautifully integrated acidity; lasting finish with a lovely sweetness in the aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled veal liver with sage onions, rabbit stew with mushrooms and polenta.
Vinification
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Aging in oak barriques for 6 months — aging in bottles for one year.
