About the wine
Chioccioli is a family business born out of the dream of the brothers Chioccioli Altadonna. Niccolò and Enrico, the sons of one of the world's most respected and award-winning oenologists and agronomists Stefano Chioccioli, have dedicated their passion to exploring and interpreting the area they have been connected to since childhood.
Tasting note
Complex on the nose, fine and fruity with an elegant floral background and hints of dried fruit. Soft, intensely fruity and delicate on the palate. Spicy, lively and Mediterranean with notes of apricot, candied citrus, combined with floral notes and caressed by light tannins and fresh acidity.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place spontaneously with local yeasts, which are cultivated in terracotta amphorae. After bottling, the wine is aged in the bottle for at least 2 months before it is on the market.
