About the wine
The Alsatian Spätlese are only produced in large years from overripe grapes. They are sweet, liquor-like and sweet and are subject to very strict legislation. They are holiday wines, from aperitif to dessert!
Tasting note
The bouquet is a bit more subtle than that of Riesling or Gewürztraminer. It is reminiscent of a fresh, fragrant loaf of bread from a wood oven. Its opulence and its very present body make it a great food companion.

Expansion in large foudres.
