About the wine

Don Angelo Cetto came from Veneto (Italy) to Baja California in 1926 as an Italian immigrant. Coming from a family with a long wine tradition, he used his knowledge conscientiously in building this unique winery in Mexico. In 1957, Vinicola L.A. Cetto was finally founded, which is dedicated exclusively to modern quality wines. L.A. Cetto played a decisive role in establishing modern viticulture in Mexico and, with around 1200 ha in Baja California, is one of the largest producers. Hugh Johnson, the author of the legendary wine atlas, also praised this winery by placing it at the forefront of quality wine producers in Mexico.
