Tasting note
This magnificent and finely carved Pernand Vergelesse “Sous Frétille” thrives on the lime-rich Premier Cru site, very close to Corton Charlemagne. On the nose, it exudes a mix of aromas of Williams pear and various citrus fruits. A strong body with a charming softness characterizes this classic burgundy. A great single-vineyard wine that will gain in complexity and expressiveness as it matures!
