About the wine

This is a fantastic property, not luxury, not a jerk, but an unpretentious, healthy and complete agricultural world on an area of 30 hectares, forest, grain, fruits, vines, and all that animals, and all that since the Middle Ages, in Alt Penedès! The Can Comas estate. You simply have to have an estate like this, you simply have to do something nice there! And they have that too, Ramon Parera and Jordi Arnan make their wine here, with their hearts, with nature, with autochthonous grape varieties that other winemakers were far too laborious, not very productive, just nature that you simply can't completely tame or chastise with chemistry. But Ramon and Jordi leave out chemicals anyway, synthetic stuff too, because they don't plough in the vineyard either. It can simply grow around the vines and with them, what lightness and inner balance radiates here, and so are the wines. Pristine beauty, inner harmony, unpretentious appearance from old varieties. The wines like the winemakers: role models!

Tasting note
Dracula - so dark, dark, the berry fruit, but it's precisely in that he stands up, smart, strict, precise, almost sharp the focus, the green - .tart notes, and feels good, brown warm notes, that balance. On the palate, strict, dark, almost nasty, the structure is tart, but that's his, right there he is in peace, balanced, secure, the background, the feeling, warmer, softer, now the fruit, red as blood, and that is as long as the night. Vinification
Very selective reading by hand. Maceration of the destemmed berries for 19 days (CF), 20 days (CS) and 12 days (Sumoll), fermentation with vineyard yeasts in cement, aging for 11 months in small, old 300 & 500L oak barrels. No fining or stabilization, minimal filtration
