About the wine
With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery San Salvatore masters this white wine in the beautiful and blooming countryside in Campania. This distinctive white wine 2021 — Paestum IGP Greco Calpazio is a hit right down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This greco is very good to serve with salads or seafood.
Tasting note
Bright straw yellow color, intensely soft bouquet of essences of yellow peach, apricot, grapefruit, mandarin and lemongrass. On the palate, it is spicy, soft, graceful and smooth with a nice acid structure.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with spaghetti vongole, white meat and cream cheese.
Vinification
After fermentation, the Greco rests in steel tanks for a further 8 months.
