About the wine
Gillo Dorfles, born April 12, 1910 in Trieste, died March 2, 2018 in Milan, was an Italian painter and art critic. 16 years adorn the labels with his drawings.
Tasting note
An homage to Gillo Dorflers, limited to 8,450 bottles. Red cherries, currants, vanilla beans and leather on the nose, medium-bodied on the palate, balanced and finely polished tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with savory foods such as stews and ossobuco.
Vinification
Fermentation in steel tanks for 30 days, aging for 24 months in new French barriques.
