About the wine
Ouverture reflects the art of combining five traditional Bordeaux grape varieties and capturing the qualities of the same grape variety grown on different terroirs. The third special feature of this composition, the blend of several vintages, allows the winery to express itself in a softer, rounder version that can be enjoyed immediately.
Tasting note
Purple with reddish reflections. On the nose, aromas of blueberries, blackcurrants and plums, with hints of chocolate and vanilla. On the palate, the fruit is harmonious and elegant, with silky tannins just like the Opus One.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent with starters such as house pate or game terrines, dark mushroom sauces, stews, dark poultry such as duck or guinea fowl, steak variants, grilled meat and semi-hard and hard cheeses such as Sbrinz or mountain cheese.
