About the wine

More than 4400 cooperative members provide Provins, the largest Swiss wine producer, with the income from the vineyards between Sierre and Lake Geneva. The company consistently focuses on quality and produces a good 20 of the 50 Valais grape varieties today. Provins is partly responsible for the fact that Valais wines made from mostly autochthonous grape varieties are not only increasingly appreciated in Switzerland, but are also repeatedly recognized internationally.
