“Christian Tschida is an idiosyncratic crosser and avant-gardist whose pure, “unvarnished” wines are in no way inferior to him in originality: The craftsmanship and vitality of the old vineyards are palpable, the wines are fine and subtle, in their appeal in the tradition of the early 20th century, with a natural alcohol content of always around 12.5%. They have an unspoiled raw power on the palate, lots of extract, concentration and enormous depth.”
