About the wine
Masseria del Feudo is a family business near Caltanisetta in central Sicily. In the fourth generation, the siblings Carolina + Francesco Cucurullo manage the farm, which extends over 110 hectares. In addition to wine, the estate mainly produces fruit and olive oil. The vineyards, which cover just 12 hectares, are mainly planted with autochthonous - grapes native to Sicily: Inzolia, Grillo and Nero d'Avola. The Chardonnay and Syrah varieties just don't make up part of the production. The Cucurullo family has been growing all their products according to organic farming guidelines for years.

Tasting note
The Nero d'Avola Viarossa Sicilia DOC's outstanding bouquet of black pepper and tobacco shows aromatic complexity and plenty of potential for enjoyment. The dominant nuances of black cherry and black plum shape their individual texture. With distinctive, rich tannins, a powerful body and dominant acidity, this red wine presents its masterful texture.
