About the wine
With this distinctive red wine 2014 — Navarra Tempranillo-Merlot Sardasol DO, the term taste takes on a new meaning. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Alconde masters this red wine in the picturesque landscape of the Upper Ebro. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Merlot is ideal to serve with poultry or duck.

Tasting note
Medium density purple. Subtly aromatic on the nose with aromas of ripe, dark berries, blackberries, fine spicy notes. Juicy on the palate, balanced with soft tannins. Medium density body Medium-length finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with veal and simple dishes.
Vinification
Aged for around 2 months in French barriques.
