About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Viña Zorzal has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and refinement are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the picturesque landscape of the Upper Ebro. With this powerful white wine 2018 — Navarra DO Chardonnay, the term taste takes on a new meaning. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Chardonnay with goat cheese or fish with herbs.
Tasting note
Lemon yellow with medium-intensity aromas of citrus, peaches and apricots. On the palate, it is dry and fresh, with notes of apples, citrus fruits and a bit of juicy pear, all surrounded by a pleasant mineral note.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, pasta/pizza, poultry, saltwater fish and seafood.
Vinification
The Chardonnay is harvested in the coolest hours in the evening when it is fully ripe. The subsequent cold maceration and vinification in stainless steel tanks ensure that the aromatic fruit aromas and wonderful freshness are optimally preserved.
