About the wine
The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Herdade dos Grous has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and refinement are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the sunny and picturesque Alentejo countryside. With the special Moon Harvest Vinho Regional Alentejano from 2019, you will positively surprise your friends.
Tasting note
The Moon Harvested grapes are harvested after the moon phases and promise significantly more extract and a clearer tannin structure. Ink black in the glass with purple reflections. On the nose, beguiling notes of dark berries, violets, some vanilla and herbal notes. On the palate, nice fruit sweetness paired with ripe blackberries. The Moon Harvested is harmonious, silky and complex with a dense body and strong intensity.

Goes well with beef, vegetables, stews, grilled meats, aged cheese, game, charcuterie
Vinification
The wine matures in new French oak barrels for twelve months.
