About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Avelino Vegas masters this white wine with sensitivity and intuition in the picturesque and enchanting landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). With the provocative white wine 2016 — Montespina Sauvignon Blanc Rueda DO, nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Sauvignon Blanc with mussels or fish.
Tasting note
Color: Clear light gold with fine grey-green reflections. Aroma: Rich, intense aroma palette (banana, white peach, apricots and gooseberries) typical of the variety, herbal, floral of elderflowers with a fine touch of tobacco. Body: The long, pleasant start is followed by lively minerality, medium-bodied, dense, sweet-looking, long-lasting palate aromas. Quality: An ideal accompaniment to light meals, very pleasant and harmonious with a very long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with chicken in almond sauce, stuffed zucchini flowers with feta and mint, mussels with onions and coriander, smoked fish and goat cheese.
