About the wine
Sunny landscapes of Languedoc-Roussillon give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the French winery Domaine Sainte Cécile conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. With the delicious Merlot Vin de pays d'Oc from 2016, you will positively surprise your friends.
Tasting note
Brilliant purple with violet reflections. Very expressive on the nose, with aromas of wild strawberries and peppermint. Nice structure, balanced and fruity with aromas of blackcurrants and spices.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with roasted rack of lamb with thyme, red meat, game or aged cheese.
Vinification
Grape harvest at night. Cold maceration before fermentation. Alcoholic fermentation, short mash fermentation, tapping, pressing, malolactic fermentation, aging in barrel.
