About the wine
Founded in 1833 by Vincenzo Florio, Cantine Florio continues the Marsala tradition to this day. A fortified wine that is named after the Sicilian port city of the same name. The house is particularly known for its spiced Marsala variants. Like port wine or sherry, these are mixed with pure alcohol and are only produced by a few houses. www.duca.it

Tasting note
Golden yellow in the glass. Fresh and lively on the nose, with floral aromas of broom and jasmine. Crisp and spicy on the palate, with a long-lasting finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes perfectly with focaccia with anchovies or bruschetta with cherry tomatoes as well as with mature cheese.
Vinification
It is fermented in a cement tank, then mixed with alcohol and matured for 13 years in small oak barrels.
