About the wine
Since its founding in the early eighties, Cantina Santa Barbara has set itself one main goal: to revive the native grape varieties of the brands, such as Verdicchio and Montepulicano. The 25 hectares owned by Stefano Antonucci and the 15 leased hectares, with vines aged three to thirty years, grow in Arcevia, Montecarotto, Serra de' Conti and Barbara, about 200 meters above sea level.

Tasting note
Straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Fruity wine with subtle notes of ripe peach, green pepper, sage and geranium. In the mouth, it shows great balance between softness and freshness. Intense, lasting and pleasant taste of great harmony and delicacy.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hot and cold starters, including steamed fish, tartare, fish carpaccio or oysters. It is also perfect for sushi and sashimi and is the ideal partner for first or second courses made from fish or crustaceans.
