About the wine
With this fresh Tempranillo 2014 — Malpuesto Rioja DOCa, the term flavor takes on a new meaning. The winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Orben grows this wine in the countryside. Flaschenpöstler tip: Pair this Tempranillo with polenta or pizza.
Tasting note
Very elegant nose, characterized by the presence of black fruits such as plums and blackberries with roasted spices. Soft palate. Fruity and elegant, with good acidity and polished tannins. Long finish. Value for money: a poem!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with barbecues, mushrooms, veal, vegetables.
Vinification
Vinified in wooden barrels, then aged in new French barriques for 15 months. Only 5,000 bottles were filled.
