About the wine
With the special Maienfelder Pinot Noir from 2016, you will positively surprise your friends. The landscape of the Bündner Herrschaft can be described with words such as mountainous or hilly. However, the Swiss winery Möhr-Niggli is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this red wine. We think he succeeded!
Tasting note
An elegant aroma of plum, some notes of bisque and ripe black berries characterize this intense garnet red wine with fine minerals. On the palate, the mentioned aromas are accompanied by floral notes; the wine is extremely soft and harmonious, with a smooth, slender body and a pleasant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with veal with light sauces.
