About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this strong red wine 2020 Maienfelder Pinot Noir Raetia Prima AOC Graubünden Von Salis. You can describe the nature of the Bündner Herrschaft with words such as mountainous or hilly. However, the Swiss winery Weinbau von Salis is trying to express the beauty of its home country with this red wine. We think he succeeded! Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Pinot Noir can be served very well with duck or red meat.
Tasting note
An elegant garnet red wine with an intense fruity aroma of cherry, strawberry and red currant, completed by some notes of cocoa and chocolate. On the palate, it shows a slight initial sweetness and velvety tannins; it is fresh, slender, harmonious and soft and is rounded off by a long finish.
