About the wine
With this strong red wine 2016 — Maienfelder Pinot Noir Levanti AOC, the term taste takes on a new meaning. The landscape of the Bündner Herrschaft is mountainous and hilly, whose fascinating expanses don't fit on a poster, but in a bottle. With a lot of feeling and experience, the winemaker from the Swiss WINERY Weinbau von Salis ensures that his craft inspires and convinces you. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Pinot Noir is ideal to be served with duck or cheese.

Tasting note
Silky, delicate, sweet bouquet, raspberry jelly, strawberry yoghurt, mint, fine herbs. Dense, fine palate, fresh, sweet fruit, elegant structure, fragrant, sweet aromas, long, fine aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Light veal and pork meat dishes. Chicken dishes and Graubünden specialities
Vinification
Grapes picked by hand extremely selectively, carefully destemmed in the cellar, via conveyor belt into large oak fermentation stands. After alcoholic fermentation is complete, the mash is placed on the press using gravity, the young wine is placed in stainless steel tanks and is of course sufficiently pre-clarified there over several days, after which the wine is put into the wood to mature.
