About the wine
The cooperative winery Les Vignerons du Roy René was founded in 1922 by Jules Reynaud mayor of Lambesc. King René I Count of Anjou made a significant contribution to the naming. Lambesc is located not far from the university town of Aix-en-Provence, in the southern French region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. The cooperative includes 120 winegrowers who cultivate their vineyards with dedication and achieve excellent results under controlled cultivation.
