About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Il Conte Villa Prandone is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and flourishing Marche countryside. There is always something left over from Christmas dinner. Tasting note
It smells elegantly of ripe black cherries and juicy plums, complemented by dried flowers, sweet spices, licorice and maraska cherries. On the palate, the amaranta is incredibly elegant, velvety, almost creamy in texture. A vital fruit acid and a grippy but soft tannin structure make this red wine a terrific treat for the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aged cheese, game dishes and grilled vegetables.
