About the wine
This dominant Trebbiano 2021 — Lugana DOCLe Pezze Farina is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Azienda Vinicola Farina Srl masters this white wine in the blooming and enchanting landscape of Veneto. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Trebbiano is excellent to serve with vegetable rice or poultry.
Tasting note
The optimal climatic conditions due to the southern orientation of the mountains and the special soil, sandy alluvial land, give this excellent wine full-bodied, fresh and a wealth of scents. The color of this is straw yellow with a green glow. This Lugana is reminiscent of white field flowers and linden blossoms, apricots and white fruits. On the palate, it is pleasantly soft, fruity and very harmonious.
Culinary recommendation
It goes very well with fish dishes, pasta, vegetables and mild cheese, but also a treat as an aperitif.
Vinification
This wine is becoming increasingly popular due to its exceptional freshness, fullness and long aftertaste. Lugana is extracted from Trebbiano di Lugana, from the area between Desenzano and Peschiera, at the foot of Lake Garda.
