About the wine
With the powerful Gamay 2014 — Louis Tête Fleurie AOC, nuances and accents are redefined. This Gamay draws its strength and energy from the gravelly, crooked soils in Burgundy. The winemaker from the French winery Louis Tête transforms it into a real treat with great emotion. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This gamay can be served very well with hash browns or chimichurri.
Tasting note
Color: Clear cherry red with distinctive, bright purple hues. Aromas: Ripe, black cherries, red currants, raspberries, hints of violets alternating with a fine earthy and mineral nuance. Body: Long start, balanced, fresh palate, balanced tannins and juicy acidity, earthy and floral in the aftertaste. Quality: Fruity, lively, youthful with lots of charm and freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with poultry, grilled sea fish, charcuterie plates, regional specialities such as oeufs en meurette, jambon persillé.
