About the wine
To get a feel for the barren beauty of Catalonia, there is no way around this red wine, which the Spanish winery Marco Abella masters with a fine sense of texture. With the dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2018 — Loidana 20, you can offer your family and friends something very special. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Cabernet Sauvignon with red meat or ribeye steak.
Tasting note
Aromas of red and black fruits with hints of flowers, cedarwood and spices. On the palate, it is soft and velvety and remains harmonious until the end. Easy to drink with good freshness and rich tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with poultry and pasta.
Vinification
The grapes from the various plots are grown separately depending on location, grape variety, soil composition and altitude. The individual vinification takes place in concrete tanks and the wine is then aged in French oak barriques for ten months.
