Tasting note
Bright ruby red - intense, highly aromatic nose with notes of all sorts of red berries, spices and fynbos, the South African variant of the French garrigue or the Italian maquis. Extremely expressive and intense on the palate, too, with aromas of juicy berries, fleshy notes and spicy notes. The grippy tannins provide structure and give the wine a pleasant mouthfeel. The vineyard, planted with bush vines in 1932, stands on very loamy soils in Franschhoek.

The recommended enjoyment phase of this wine is in the following period: Now until 2038. Flaschenpost team tip: Lötter Cinsault goes perfectly with game, pasta and pizza.
