About the wine
We have a special, provocative Merlot from 2005 for you, which inspires many wine connoisseurs. This Merlot draws its strength and energy from the gravelly soils north and east of Gironde and Dordogne. The winemaker from the French winery Château Teyssier transforms it into a real treat with great emotion. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Merlot is ideal for serving with poultry or duck.

Tasting note
Intense, deep ruby red. On the nose, subtly aromatic with the scent of dark berries, black cherries and plums, spicy, toasted notes, chocolate. Powerful on the palate with lingering tannins, elegant structure, dense, long-lasting finish.

Goes well with beef, lamb, stews
Vinification
Fermentation in steel tanks, malolactic fermentation in oak barrels. Then ageing in French barriques for around 12 months.
