About the wine
Although the wine-growing history on Tenerife with its volcanic soils dates back a long time, the small, family-run winery was only founded in 2006. The foundation is like ascending a throne - the winery has made it to the top right from the start and is today, only a few vintages later, considered THE winery on the island. On just 9 ha, a treasure of numerous indigenous, ancient vines is cultivated with hands. The principle also applies in the cellar: nature first! The wines exude a fairytale richness, full of color and life, independent and extraordinary - it's unbelievable what you put into a 0.75l bottle here. Be amazed and enjoy.
Tasting note
Natural beauty, after an eventful life with great balance. Reminds immediately of an arrived, grateful, mature person who also knows the abysses, wonderfully delicate hint of depth, dark juicy berries but never heavy, light and life of minerality dominate, lots of plants and softly warm tones, fig bush, juniper. On the palate more passionate, resolute, physical, mineral, had to fight, then lots of juicy, sweet fruit, smoky, spicy, long and fulfilling aftertaste with lots of discreet, dark fruit. It is like meeting a special, courageous yet humble person, gracefully beautiful and with the size to forgive. Great, intimate and touching wine.
Vinification
Very selective reading by hand. Spontaneous fermentation in open concrete vessels with the vineyard's own yeasts, malolactic fermentation and aging in neutral 500l French oak barrels. Unfiltered.
