Christmas 2021 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 — La Réserve de Léoville Barton. In the north of the city of Bordeaux are the gravelly, gravelly soils that offer the winemaker from the French winery Château Léoville-Barton everything he needs to live out his craft and produce a wine for discerning connoisseurs. Tasting note
A great classic with a nice terroir note. Léoville-Barton owes its quality to a large extent to the well-drained gravel soil. The wine is dense, dark reddish brown and reveals an extremely complex bouquet from the very first contact. The taste goes from a full, fleshy, silky response to a tannic but deliciously juicy and very long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. Flaschenpost team tip: La Réserve de Léoville Barton goes well with red meat, Gruyère burgers and pizza with mushrooms.
Vinification
Dark purple. Seductive notes of blueberries, blackberries, some dark chocolate, violets and cardamom. Powerful on the palate with present, ripe tannins and a very long-lasting finish. The blend consists of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Merlot and the maturation takes place 60% in new barriques.
