Tasting note
Although only titled as Meunier, this rosé d'assemblage contains a small amount of Chardonnay with the base wine pressed in white. The added red wine, however, is a pure Meunier. The bouquet features inviting aromas of wild berries, plums and cherry clafoutis, plus some clementines, accompanied by a fine touch of smoked almonds. On the palate with juicy berry fruit, lovely freshness and harmonious, subtly winey and tart notes in an attractive finish. ONLY 350 BOTTLES PRODUCED!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with an aperitif with some (wild boar) ham and melon, olives, pieces of Parmesan, etc., with gazpacho, with red mullet on melted tomatoes or even with lamb fillet, plus spicy couscous with roasted pine nuts, dates and mint.
