Tasting note
Medium ruby red — highly aromatic nose with floral, spicy, mineral and fruity notes. On the palate, the wine is extremely complex, fresh, spicy and wonderfully balanced. The complex fruit notes of figs and blackberries are perfectly complemented by the oak spice and the cool minerality. The grapes for this very “Burgundian” red wine come from the single vineyard La Canoca, which is planted as a “Field Blend” with now 45-year-old Tempranillo and Viura vines.
Culinary recommendation
The wine should be enjoyed during this period: Now until 2039 Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: La Canoca goes well with barbecue, red meat and polenta.
