About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this dominant Carignan 2019 — L'Escaleta Priorat DOQ. You can describe the landscape in Catalonia with words such as barren. However, the Spanish winery Bodega Bravo Escós is trying to express the beauty of its homeland with this red wine. We think he succeeded! Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This carignan is ideal to be served with duck or red meat.
Tasting note
Cherry red with purple hues. On the nose, aromas of violets, lavender and blackberries. On the palate, the wine appears mineral, full-bodied, complex with smoky and balsamic nuances. A potent wine with a long finish.

Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: L'Escaleta Priorat DOQ goes well with duck, turkey and red meat.
