About the wine
The winemaker from Austrian Weingut Johann Schwarz has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque landscape of Burgenland. This dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 — Kumarod red crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Tasting note
Rich ruby red with purple shimmer. Blackberries, cherries and licorice dominate at the start, followed by precious woods such as cinnamon bark and tobacco leaves. A well-structured, fruity red wine that is suitable for all occasions.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with charcuterie, Mediterranean cuisine, pasta and pizza.
Vinification
Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and Merlot mature for six months in used barrique barrels of the well-known and popular Schwarz Rot. This is followed by a further six-month maturation in stainless steel tanks.
